The Contrada Wines, Mandrarossa’s Cartagho and Santannella win The Wine Hunter Award

The award acknowledges the quality and uniqueness of the Sicilian brand wines

Great news from the 2020 Merano Wine Festival. After attending the Live Web Seminar on July 20th, online on the Merano Wine Festival Facebook page with The Contrada Wines and Etna Wines, Mandrarossa receives “The wine Hunter Award” certifying, besides the quality of the wines, also the passion and dedication in making them unique but staying true to the motto excellence is an attitude!

The committee, who judges the wines during the competition, which were selected last spring, awarded four Mandrarossa labels, among the most representative for the innate quality of the product but also for the ability to talk about the innovation path launched by the brand since 1999. The Wine Hunter Award is awarded to the Vini di Contrada, Terre Del Sommacco and  Bertolino Soprano Sicilia DOC , Nero d’Avola and single-variety Grillo that launched the new line of the Storie Ritrovate enhancing the connection between variety-terroir, Cartagho Sicilia DOC, Mandrarossa’s award-winning iconic red and Santannella Terre Siciliane IGT, a white wine, blend of Fiano and Chenin Blanc, modern and captivating.

Receiving The WineHunter Award means to also be part of the communication and promotion on the Wine Hunter communication channels throughout a whole year. The awarded wines have also been published on the Online Guide The WineHunter Award 2020 on award.winehunter.it.

But there could be more surprises. We are waiting to know who the PLATINUM winners of The Wine Hunter Award will be, announced in the month of October. For other updates, continue following our news.
