BARIlight project

BARIlight project, carried out for Mandrarossa by the architects Lycia and Gaia Trapani, turned the 1.5 lt Magnum Barrel of four of the most representative wines of the whole line - Urra di Mare, Timperosse, Bonera and Cartagho - into versatile glass lamps, accompanied with nautical accessories.

Barilights are created with electrical components which are entirely made in Italy. Traditional glass making techniques are still used in the production process.

The lamps can be presented in various ways: suspended through a snap-hook, fastened to a wall through a nautical knot, or laid on a surface as spotlighting.

The result is a sea of light in a bottle of wine.
