Varieties
Viognier
Characteristics of the grape
Small spheroidal to slightly oval grape, thick skin, with a golden-amber color. Aromatic pulp and flavor, especially if the fruit is over-ripe.
Sensory profile of the wine
The Viognier grapes produce a wine with a straw-yellow color with golden reflections.
The aroma is fruity and recognizable for its notes of peach and apricot, or exotic fruits such as pineapple. Sapid, fresh and usually full-bodied to the palate.
