Characteristics of the grape
Medium size grape, with an ellipsoidal or spherical shape.
Skin from pruinose to very pruinose, thick and leathery, with a violet-blue color. Plain and sweet pulp.
Sensory profile of the wine
The wine produced from the Frappato variety is ruby-red in color, clear and transparent.
The aroma is recognizable for the marked hints of red fruit, mainly wild strawberry and raspberry. Fresh, soft and slightly tannic to the palate.
