Medium-size grapes with a spherical to ellipsoidal shape, slightly pruinose skin, thick and consistent, with a golden-yellow color. Plain and sweet pulp.

The grapes of this variety produce wines with an intense aroma, fruity and floral that recall the Sicilian citruses.
Fresh and sapid to the palate, pleasant and quite balanced wines.

Mandrarossa produces the Grecanico Costadune from this variety, a fresh and young white wine, with intense aromas of orange blossom and citrus, such as lemon and citron and slight hints of thyme.
