This variety, known as “carrico” in the Sicilian dialect that means generous, produces wines with a straw-yellow color and greenish reflections. The aroma presents elegant floral and white fruit notes, with hints of citrus and orange blossom. The wines have a unique acid flavor toned down by a pleasant sapid finish, given by the minerality of the volcanic soil they come from. Their freshness makes these wines structured and long-lasting.
